Here is a letter we have received about the situation in Congo:

I am writing to let you know that the Congolses People need your help. The war has been going on in Congo for some years. Many lives has been lost, almost 2.5 millions. It seems that the international community does not care.

Women are brutalized, violated and contaminated by the Rwandan, Burundian, Ugandan armies and the rebels groups. Some were buried alive. Kids around 12 and 13 years old are being raped and some got pregnant thereof.

Nobody seems to care about this part of the world. They know why the war is going on in Congo.

What can you do to help us to make this matter known on a large scale in the world and to put pressure to bring those who are commiting these crimes to justice. The blood of 2.5 millions of women and men in Congo is asking for justice.
