It has been said that we are all born equal. But in a world which steals from us our gift of equality, those of us, who after the birth, are made less-than-equal have to defend themselves. Unfortunately, the defense of righteous and just goals with weapons and violence is sometimes counterproductive and causes unspeakable pain on all sides.

Peace Association of Oppressed Peoples, as the name indicates, is an association open to all peoples, all nations, religions or other groups who are being discriminated on racial, cultural, national or religious grounds. It aims, through peaceful means, to increase the world awareness of the injustices and oppression of these peoples and it aims to remove or reduce all the aspects of their oppression.

Here is a list of some of the nations or groups that may be eligible and who are oppressed or threatened with either cultural or racial genocide:

PALESTINIANS
the BASQ people (Spain)
the SORB nation (Germany)
ARMENIANS
SERBS (Yugoslavia, Kosovo, etc)
ARABS
MOSLEMS
CHINESE (in many parts of the world)

There are other groups which are oppressed or threatened with extermination, but their status needs closer analysis and examination.
